The Knux are ’Garage-Hop’ duo Krispy and Al Millio from New Orleans and their debut album ‘Remind Me In 3 Days’ has been likened to ’Outkast, Juvenile, Tha Pharcyde, and The Strokes concurrently blasting out of a drop-top Jag on Sunset Blvd on a Saturday night, in the summer’, so you get the picture.
Signed to Interscope records back in 2006, on paper the brothers (literally) sound like an unimaginative a&r departments wet dream, but the self produced duo have more than got the chops to pull it off.
Hurricane Katrina curtailed their plans, but following a management hook up with Paul (Eminem) Rosenberg and a subsequent move to the Hollywood Hills, plus an opening slot on Common’s ‘Finding Forever’ tour, big things are expected of The Knux in ‘08.
